Use Google Video Links Improve your SEO

One of the easiest ways to get a link back to your site, and get more pages indexed in the process, is to create a video and upload it to the Google Video site.

The process is easy, and it’s FREE! You can use any video recording device to create your video, and then polish it up with some editing software. Or use a software package like Vlog-It! to do the entire process.

Remember the key elements of linking to get the best results in the search engines.

1. Syncronyze the title of your video with your landing page key phrase anchor text.

2. Remember to include a link back to your site – this is a great way to create deep links, not just front page links.

3. Create an interesting thumbnail for your video that get people to click on it.

4. When you upload your video, you can only choose 1 category or genre. Go back and edit your listing to add two more (total of 3) category listings.

5. There are more categories on the editing page than on the front page.

6. Include you key phrase in the actual file name. Example: google-video-links-seo.wmv

7. Create a link back to your Google video in a directory (like this one) article, press release, or interview.
